I am an audiovisual and literary translator based in Valencia.

Born in the United States, I grew up speaking Spanish at home and learning both Spanish and English at school through a bilingual immersion programme. Summers spent with family in northern Spain gave me a bi-cultural foundation, which I have continued to nurture in adulthood.

Audiovisual Translation
Translation and localisation services not only require a good linguistic knowledge of a language but also a deep understanding of cultural and societal markers.

Whether it's subtitle creation for a business conference, translation of patient/doctor interviews or transcreation of video game dialogue, I can provide text for the appropriate target audience.
Literary Translation
Literary translation encompasses a broad range of projects, from a biography of an international footballer to a picture book targeted towards children ages 4 to 6. The common factor in these types of text is the creativity involved in producing them.
